Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy — Online & Pittsburgh
Disconnection rarely happens all at once.
It builds quietly through miscommunication, emotional fatigue, unresolved conflict, or years of putting yourself last.
You may feel disconnected from yourself, from your partner, or from the people you care about most. Conversations go in circles. You feel unheard, misunderstood, or emotionally distant, even when you’re trying your best.
Therapy here isn’t about fixing who you are.
It’s about helping you understand what’s happening and learning how to reconnect in ways that actually feel better.

You don’t need a new life.
You need things to make sense again.
─────────────────────
You feel like you are…
──────────────────────
→ Functioning well, but feeling emotionally flat or distant
→ Stuck in the same arguments with no real resolution
→ Struggling to express what you need
→ Feeling disconnected after years of prioritizing others
At the core of most struggles is the same issue:
something isn’t connecting anymore.
I’m a licensed psychologist and professor with 20+ years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate stress, self-doubt, and life challenges. My approach combines evidence-based therapy with practical tools tailored to you.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, and co-parents through online sessions across 43 states, as well as in-person therapy in Pittsburgh.
Therapy doesn’t have to take forever.
Reaching out can feel difficult, especially if asking for help isn’t something you’re used to. My role is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling, without judgment, so you can feel more certain in who you are and where you want to go.
Our work is a partnership built on understanding and respect, shaped around your needs. I speak plainly and share what I know in a straightforward way, balanced with empathy and compassion.
My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded. We focus on what’s actually happening in your life, how patterns developed, and what will realistically help things improve.
Clients often tell me they feel:
→ Relieved to finally feel understood
→ More clear about what they’re experiencing
→ Better able to communicate without things escalating
→ More connected to themselves and to others
I bring experience working with individuals, couples, and families, including complex relationship dynamics. Our work is thoughtful and structured, but never rigid.
This is a space to talk honestly, gain insight, and move forward with intention.
